Well after Thorpe Park came home, watched Robbie Williams in concert at leeds, parked 5 miles away from the concert in the official car park and they made everybody walk there and back, so a 10 mile hike to see Robbie but him and basement jaxx were amazing
Then Saturday morning set off for Blondebash at Walsall. Got to Village Hotel J10 M6 at 1.15pm and Claw (Claire) had also got there exact same time . Claire was my room buddy and omg we had a real riot. Dumped stuff in room, got ready in the room with vodka redbull then headed for the bar to meet more blondites.
Dewi and Ericstoner were there same time as us, then mr & mrs reddog and 30 others followed.
One thing is that the www.blondepoker.com forum community users are lovely people, ok you may get odd one or 2 that are exception to the rule but blondebashes are a great way to play poker, have lots of beer and have a lot of fun
My girls heads up team sadly went out round 2 and it was down to a decider match, me and Phil Quayle (ex william hill boss) who hit a gutshot str8 on the turn after i'd pushed my chips in on the flop :( with top pair and nut flush draw ah well we'll have it bb4
After casino ended back at village hotel to be drinking 4 bottles of moet with Simon Nowab, Pab, the baron, flushy, jane, me , claire, tank, rod and about 30 others. We drunk the bar dry lol and at 8am went to bed for 5 hours before getting up for the quiz
Sunday did the blondebash quiz which our Team Silo got 6th place , we were impressed with that result as 9 teams entered. From quiz went to play speedpoker at Walsall basically a 10min clock 1500 chip freezeout. Went out with 99 v AA me in bb with 9's , aces flat calls, i push for not many more chips and oops . Played 2 sit n goes and won 1 and came 2nd in other , bit of a result, then me, Claire, Phil, John, Gatso, Dan, Ironside all go for indian meal across from casino, highly recommended back to hotel for more poker and we laughed our socks off
Left village hotel today about 1pm picked Declan up and came back to yorkshire
This weekend will be down at Lindz and Grahams and hopefully taking Dec to the coast to build some sandcastles :)
