Looked on a forum today and found one of the best poker/celebrity writers has died.
I knew he had septicemia as its what I had 2 years ago, but mine was just caught intime, but Elkan sadly didn't pull through the course of antibiotics and died
Elkan used to play poker down at Gutshot and Jen & Johns home game in Hampstead. Was a lovely old chap and always had time to chat and tell a story about some of the celebs he'd written about.
