Well decided to toddle off to Gala Notts instead of Sheffield Napoleons (bingo) night , however found Gala Notts pretty much the same.
2000 starting chips blinds start 50/100 for £30 pot limit holdem. I do love notts for its friendliness and was chatting with Chippie from leicester who posts on blondepoker, and Raj and Ed whos lovely was dealing my table. In the first 10 hands I get KK bust by A4 when I push all in on a 4 6 9 board for the ace to land on the river, chips. 2nd hand KK again no believers and all in again board 10 J 4, to be called by J9 and a 10 lands on river Chips!!
AA (both black) all in again and 3 non believers which is great, however board is Q 4 5 all diamonds , turn 10 clubs, river 2 diamonds for J10 to win with his diamonds.
Chips!! QQ all in again up again 55 flop 10 4 7, turn 6, river 8 aah the runner runner str8 how lovely MUPPETS!!!
Then AK v AK chop Phew, at least didn't lose with it, JJ hold up v 99 so up to 4k
The guy who was calling everything and hitting on the river had about 20k in chips. Guy on my left I said to him, he'll never make final. He went out 4 hands after the freezeout
Unreal bad luck last night, it bloody wants to change for walsall festival, otherwise i'm gonna be really pissed off. If i'd have had a mouse at notts it would have been a bust one. Everybody was saying, can't believe you're so calm, probably cos i just take it on the chin,but doesn't it f**k you off big time!!
