Poker4Charity Event Nottingham

Well as ever the Poker4Charity event went down a storm in Nottingham
Event started at 12noon, so left me mums at 10am to get there ingood time. Ended up having to ring Rob the lawyer and Jo on mobiles asgot lost inthe one way system but finally 11.20am got to Nottingham Racecourse to find that the tables were on their way from St Helens and maybe a bit late. Oh well nothing to panic about, just get sorted all rest of stuff. Now wheres the chips....
bugger they are in StHelens too .... ok registrations was going well then about 1220pm the tables arrive so can get things up and moving

Sorted place cards and table numbers and get this show on the road. I downloaded poker clock and it ran a dream for the tournament , structure and settings perfect so cannot fault it one iota.

Tournament off and running 1230pm. 73 runners ish and altogether made £5k in total so 2.5k for prize fund and 2.5k to charity

Great meeting lots of old mates from the other P4C events and can honestly say, wicked time :)

Cardroom opens in a few days and really excited about it. Gave out quite a few business cards about www.palaceofcards.com to people at the charityevent who will hopefully come along, so a good thing :)
